Greying Gums Above the Tooth line and sensitive teeth

I am starting to notice that my gun line is greying and my teeth are more sensitive then normal.  Does that mean that my teeth are decaying?  I can not afford to go to a dentist right now.  My teeth seem fine, but they are all very deeply pitted right around the gum-line from what I can see.  Not sure want to do?  I been brushing my teeth three times a day now and flossing at least twice a day with no improvement. How can I get some dental help for this issue?
